Mental Health and Wellbeing

Intqual-pro are proud to partner with Start Within and offer a range of Mental Health First Aid, awareness and associated wellbeing programmes to support organisations and their employees. Training your employees in Mental Health First Aid is a clear commitment to wellbeing within the workplace. More than ever before, it is crucial that employers value mental health as highly as physical health and put steps in place to equip your employees with the skills they need. We offer both the two-day MHFA course and the half-day MHFA Aware, both fully licensed by MHFA International. All trainers employed by Start Within have completed the MHFA England Instructor Training programme accredited by the Royal Society of Public Health and courses can be delivered either face-to-face or online. Subject or situationally specific wellbeing workshops have also been popular with our extensive range of employers, to include subjects such as coping with financial worries, the stress of home working, managing parental guilt and return to work anxiety.

Understanding Radicalisation

Exposure to radical propaganda in all of its forms and the radicalisation of young and vulnerable people is a growing issue in the modern world. Radicalisation is not limited to one region, ethnicity or religion and as such this qualification identifies radicalisation in all forms. By understanding all forms of radicalisation we are better placed to counter the existing issues, yet also mitigate any potential future threats to community cohesion. An understanding of the PREVENT mandate and the confidence to act appropriately when faced with the threat of radicalisation is essential to mitigating these threats. Achievement of a specific anti-radicalisation (PREVENT) qualification allows organisations to be sure that critical learning outcomes have been understood
